We’re looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) with technical rigor and a strong desire to make an impact.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields

  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Data Management and Analytics

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) focusing on SQL Server

  • In-depth knowledge of SQL Server versions 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, and above

  • Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of SQL Server instances

  • Proficiency in Transact-SQL (T-SQL) for database administration and development

  • Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance

  • Experience in query and index performance tuning

  • Experience with backup and recovery strategies, using native SQL Server tools and third-party solutions

  • Knowledge of high availability solutions, including Always On Availability Groups, failover clustering, and database mirroring

  • Knowledge of SQL Server security practices, including access control, data encryption, and auditing

  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automating administrative tasks

  • Experience with tools like SQL Server Agent for job scheduling and automation

  • Experience with monitoring and management tools, including SSMS, SQL Server Profiler, and third-party tools like Redgate or SolarWinds

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues in the database

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions in critical situations

  • Fluency in English
